Vendor FAQ
1. Can I pay with credit card or debit card?
Yes, you can use your credit card or debit card to pay the PayPal invoice we send you even if you don’t have a PayPal account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, then when you get a PayPal invoice from us, click on “Pay as a Guest”
2. Can I pay via cheque or cash or Interac?
For discounted pricing, all payments must be received via PayPal (using your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account if you have one)
3. What does the $200 deposit cover?
Vendors who are selling products will have the opportunity to get a limited number of discounted spots in the areas marked Market Tents, Food Trucks or Food Tents if they:
- Pay a reservation & damage deposit of $200 before Apr 30th
- Pay the total non-negotiable vendor fee in full by Apr 30th
4. What are the discounted vendor fees?
- Food Tents: $2000 for each 10’x10’ footprint along the North side of City Centre Drive
- Food Trucks: $1200 for each 20’x10’ footprint near the East gate or West gate
- Market Tents (non-food booth): $1000 for each 10’x10’ footprint on the West Side of the South Square (beside the Central Library)
5. What time does the festival start?
- Friday, July 21 from 4 pm to 11 pm
- Saturday, July 22 from 2 pm to 11 pm
6. Can I select a specific spot to set up my tent or food truck?
You can pick which of the Market Tent area, Food Truck area, or Food tent area you would like a reserve your footprint in. Your exact location within your chosen area will be allocated to you approximately 10 days before the event.
7. Does the full vendor fee include exclusivity?
Category exclusivity is only available for sponsors of the festival.
8. When and how will I be billed for the full vendor amount?
After we’ve received your reservation & damage deposit via PayPal, you’ll get a 2nd PaPal invoice for your vendor fee.
- 1st Payment (Jan 1 to April 30th) – reservation & damage deposit due
- 2nd Payment (April 30th) – full vendor fee due
- We’ll send a request for your vendor fee before Apr 30th. If we don’t receive your vendor fee in full by Apr 30th we’ll consider that a cancellation and you’ll get your reservation & damage deposit back less a $50 administrative fee.
9. Will I get my reservation & damage deposit back?
Yes – if you participate in the festival, you’ll get your reservation & damage deposit of $200 back after the event as long as there are no damages. Damages include fines, cleaning charges, and/or missing or damaged items provided to the vendor.
10. What if I want to cancel?
It is up to you to request a refund using this form as per the schedule below:
- If you cancel between January 1st and April 30th, you’ll be refunded the $200 reservation & damage deposit less a $50 administrative fee.
- If you cancel between May 1st and Jun 30th you’ll be refunded the vendor fee less the $200 reservation & damage deposit.
- If you cancel from July 1st onwards there will be no refunds of the reservation & damage deposit or vendor fee.
